St. John Paul II Middle School Camp is designed to empower young people entering grades 7-9 to become disciples of Jesus Christ by engaging them in prayer, worship, leadership skill development, scriptural reflection, and service learning. This camp is designed for youth who have a desire to grow in their faith and share that faith back home in parish and family life.
“My dear young people, only Jesus knows what is in your hearts and your deepest desires. Only He, who has loved you to the end (cf. Jn 13:1), can fulfil your aspirations. His are words of eternal life, words that give meaning to life. No one apart from Christ can give you true happiness.” - St. John Paul II (World Youth Day)
The theme for this years camp is entitled “Relentless Father” and we are going to explore and expand on how God is not just a Father, but a Relentless Father. He is a Father that never gives up on us, never abandons us, will always search for us, protect us, and heal us. This central theme will be expanded on through the various keynote talks and small group discussion that happens at camp.

The Service Team (ST) will partner with the adult staff for the week, collaborating for the good of our campers. Service Team is a week filled with hard work for the glory of God. Come with a positive attitude and the heart of Christ for service and you will find that your faith will grow in profound ways as you show love to the campers and staff in a very practical and direct way.
More than work, those on the Service Team will participate in small-group activities with the rest of the ST, participate in formation led by Service Team Directors, perform skits and dramas, lead meal graces, and share their testimonies to the campers.
